AND SO IT BEGINS.....

I've always been a big fan of the 60's and 70's style "frisco" bikes and have been dying to get my hands on a pre-evo unit and go to town. A good friend decided to let me do a little overhaul on his shovel. It started out as a 1981 harley davidson sturgis and the original owner tore the bike apart but passed away before it was ever put back together. There was an estate sale and another shop ended up with the bike, but didn't get the original frame for whatever reason....So, they transplanted what they had into a santee frame.......Enough with the history, fast forward a few years, and lets get to business...... We tore it apart yesterday, getting rid of all the excess. today i tacked together a set of pipes and i'm still playing with what lengths they are gonna be. Just to get an idea of how it would look, i tossed on an old wassell tank i bought off ebay a few years ago.
